From Strandhotellet Gl. Skagen’s café the cosy atmosphere drifts out from the glass extension on the southern side of the hotel and into the hotel’s charming lounges. If you decide to enjoy your coffee or the café’s food here, in the glass extension called The Parasol, you will have the sensation of sitting out in the dunes where the wind plays with the lyme grass, accompanied by the distant roar of the waves. During the day, the Skagen light generously shines its rays and, when darkness falls, the starry sky and moonlight provide almost magical lighting from above.
The kitchen offers delicious lunches and snacks. The comprehensive assortment of home-baked cakes is in itself a popular attraction in Gl. Skagen.
