At Strandhotellet Gl. Skagen we make a point of combining the beautiful historic setting with the modern, convenient facilities of the present. The hotel offers a well-balanced environment where each defining period of the hotel’s history is represented by the old wooden floors and panelled doors, its cottage windows, its classic styled furniture, and its modern technology.
The hotel’s rooms and suites are each furnished distinctively and exclusively, and its interior design comprises timeless classics and high-quality beds. All rooms have a telephone, a wireless internet connection and a Danish-designed TV. The main building is the hotel’s heart, but some of the hotel’s rooms are found in a number of separate holiday houses, each with its own look and charm.

The rooms in the old seaside hotel have a fireplace in their centre, and are charmingly furnished with pieces from the heyday of Danish furniture design. Here our guests feel at home with books, newspapers and magazines, accompanied by well-brewed coffee and sweet creations from the hotel’s well-known and exquisite assortment of home-baked cakes.
